Living Matters

There is so much outside ... There's a whole life waiting for you, there's so much to enjoy.

Don't let anyone bring you down, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL NO MATTER WHAT.

YOU ARE WORTH A LOT...

YOUR IMPERFECTIONS MAKE YOU PERFECT AND UNIQUE...

YOU JUST HAVE TO BELIEVE IT, AND LIVE EVERY SINGLE DAY OF YOUR LIFE LIKE IF IT WAS THE LAST DAY...

DREAM A LOT. IF YOU CAN DREAM IT, YOU CAN BE IT.

AND MOST IMPORTANT, NEVER LET YOUR FEARS GROW BIGGER THAN YOUR DREAMS.
THERE ARE SO MANY REASONS TO SMILE:
-YOU ARE ALIVE
-YOU CAN WALK, TALK, LISTEN
-AND MOST IMPORTANT YOU CAN ENJOY EVERY SECOND OF LIFE YOU WERE GIFTED WITH TODAY.

Smile, show the world that today you are much more stronger than you were yesterday.

start thinking about those little things in life that matter.

Do what makes you happy, like seeing fashion blogs? shopping, watching movies, do what you like to do.

listen to happy music, be happy.

Assignment 7

1. What problems does the article mention that children run into when they use search engines?
Kids do not know how to formulate the exact keywords to look up for what they're actually looking for. They only think like kids. For example if they're looking for the new president , they  would type in " who's the new president?" and this would not lead to the answer they're looking for.
2. What suggestions have been offered for how search engines can improve their product to lessen children’s problems searching?
Google is thinking about modifying the Google search into more of a picture search. This would be just like an IPhone or an Android that has voice recognition, this way it would be easier even for kids that are disabled. Google is also thinking about doing a Google Robot, because this is what kids actually want.
3. Do you search using keywords or questions? How does the article characterize these two types of searching?
I've tried both using keywords and typing in the direct question. The article talks about how important it is for users to only type the keywords to make the search faster. However, some people do not know how to write down what they're looking for into keywords.
4. Have you tried using images or videos to search? How does the article characterize this type of searching?
Yes, I've tried searching with images and is really effective. It gives you all the information related to that you are looking for. I consider image searching more effective than by typing. The article says that this type of search is really effective and it is even more effective for kids.
5. What advice would you give to Internet search engine developers (like Google or Bing) for how they should improve their product? Do you think any of the improvements mentioned in the article are particularly promising? Why?
I think that it should be improved by making picture searching more common or more useful, somehow, inverting more on that. Making the keywords more specific rather than too general. Thinking about the person who's going to search, and making it more easier for them, for example kids.
